As the global supply chain challenges continue to impact small and large businesses, it takes a collective effort to overcome them and enable companies to thrive again. That’s our commitment at Rathburn. We’re encouraged by the level of partnerships happening now as we work with our customers to find new solutions that benefit everyone.

Issues we see on a weekly basis now include sudden needs for parts that had originally been sourced from overseas but can’t be delivered on time, scaling challenges for irregular demand cycles, and growing companies needing reliable partners who can help them as they build.

Here are a few examples of how we’re helping our customers:

Complementing customer capabilities
One of our customers was able to do some of their own machining but didn’t have the equipment or capabilities to make some of their necessary components. We were able to complement our customer’s capabilities by machining the larger components while they focused on the parts their resources could cover. We’re committed to being good partners to companies facing challenges of all sizes and scope, from targeted small solutions to large-scale production.

Reacting quickly to increasing demand
A distributor was looking for a local source who could react quickly to increasing demand for one of their customers. Thanks to our wide-ranging capabilities, we were able to quickly machine Swiss parts in small batches to accommodate the end user needs. We ramped up our production for just in time delivery that enabled them to meet their demands right on schedule.

Starting small when needed
When a local startup company launched a new product line, they needed new fixturing to be added to the components they were already making in-house. While the production work they required did not involve a large quantity, we stepped in to provide the new fixtures to help them get started. Whatever the customer’s needs are, we’re poised to step in and help with a customized solution to help them meet their goals.

These are just a few examples of what it’s like to work with Rathburn. We’re proud to partner with our customers and jump in wherever and whenever needs arise. If you’re facing these kinds of challenges, we’d like to explore how we can work through them together. Please reach out to us at info@rathburnmachining.com.
