April Winfield joins the company as operations manager to provide
even greater operational guidance as the company continues to grow.
Auburn, IN, July 29, 2025, Rathburn Precision Machining announced April Winfield as its new Operations Manager. Winfield brings more than 23 years of operational excellence across a range of organizational roles. This, combined with more than seven years as a Rathburn board member, ensures immediate traction and impact across the company.
“I’m excited to have April join our leadership team,” said company president Angie Holt. “She knows the company well, lives our culture and commitment to quality and service, and is perfectly suited to helping us reach our goals. The fact that she’s my sister, grew up in this business, and has sat on our board of directors for more than seven years only helps us to have a great leader who can hit the ground running.”
Winfield joins Rathburn after 23 years of service and leadership in Allen County, where she built a reputation as a strong, empathetic leader—one who manages people effectively, listens with intention, and fosters collaboration across systems. From serving as a supervisor in adult probation to becoming the Chief Juvenile Probation Officer, Winfield consistently demonstrated a commitment to both accountability and community care.
Of note, Winfield helped launch numerous programs for youth in Allen County designed to divert young people from the justice system, provide life skills, and strengthen family and school connections. Winfield served on the FAST Team, was a sworn Special Deputy, and worked closely with community agencies, nonprofits, schools, and law enforcement to create lasting partnerships across the community.
